Winter Holidays Around the World
Ms. Kimmie’s second graders at China Primary School have recently embarked on a virtual “field trip” around the world to learn about different winter holidays – comparing some of the similarities and differences with how each is celebrated. Learners packed their luggage, scanned their boarding passes, loaded the plane, and experienced the whole flight procedure, along with onboard snacks! The first holiday stop was Christmas, followed by Winter Solstice, Las Posadas, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Bohdi Day, and Dongzhi. #WeAreRSU18 #CPSdragons
