Monarch Magic in Third Grade
Miss Belanger’s third graders at China Primary School have been busy observing the life cycle of the monarch butterfly. The class began with two caterpillars and one chrysalis, and students watched as the caterpillars grew and transformed.
After the weekend, they returned to discover a butterfly had emerged! Together, they identified it as a male, named him Butterfinger Tim, and then released him to begin his migration to Mexico for the winter. #WeAreRSU18 #CPSdragons
