Teddy Bears’ Picnic
To conclude their unit on bears, Mrs. Robie’s PreK class at China Primary School celebrated with a whimsical Teddy Bears’ Picnic. Each student brought a special stuffed animal guest to join the fun. In a playful twist, the stuffed animals “snuck away” with the picnic basket and set up a surprise celebration just for the children! When the students finally found their furry friends, they discovered a fully prepared picnic complete with Bear Mix, Bear Paw Cookies, songs, and bear-themed games. While the experience was adorable and fun-filled, it also served an important educational purpose. Pretend play fosters creativity, supports cognitive development, enhances problem-solving skills, and makes learning deeply engaging for young children. #WeAreRSU18 #CPSdragons
