China School Forest Day 2025

The China School Forest came alive with activity as volunteers shared their unique talents and knowledge with China Primary School’s students. At every station, students had the chance to explore, interact, and learn something new. They watched a chainsaw carving demonstration, met an arborist, and chatted with the China librarians. They also discovered what it’s like to be an entomologist, learned first aid basics, explored composting, enjoyed rock painting, and so much more!

Students spent the day immersed in nature—navigating the trails and experiencing the beauty of Maine’s great outdoors.

A heartfelt thank you to all the incredible volunteers who made this memorable day possible for our students.
