“Balloons Over Broadway” STEM
Leading up to Thanksgiving, Miss Belanger’s third graders at China Primary School read the book Balloons Over Broadway together. Students were able to deep dive into the book and understand the history of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They learned how the parade originated, how it has changed over time, as well as how the balloons are made. Learners were then challenged to create a balloon design of their own that they would like included in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! #WeAreRSU18 #CPSdragons
