Bikes For Books
Our local Masonic Lodge has graciously offered to bring the Bikes For Books Program back to China Primary School this spring. We have planned a Bikes For Books Kick-Off Assembly for Friday, March 29, at 1:45 pm. Students are encouraged to read daily and record their reading times on slips to be entered into a drawing. One boy and one girl from each grade level will win a bike! For every 20 minutes of reading that a student completes, they can fill out a slip, have a parent sign it, return it to school, and then it will be entered into the drawing. There is no limit on how many entries a student can make, but each slip must be completely filled out and signed by a parent. We will collect slips during the month of April. The bike drawing will take place in an all-school assembly to be held Friday, May 17. Let’s get kids excited about reading!
